Dr. Elliott is a native of the Midwest, growing up in small town Iowa. His love for animals early in life put him on track to becoming a veterinarian. He received his undergraduate from Buena Vista University before obtaining his doctor of veterinary medicine from Iowa State University in 1995. After Practicing five years in Minnesota, Dr. Elliott found his way to fun and sun in Florida and has practiced with Animal Care Center INC. ever since.

In 2008 Dr. Elliott completed training at the University of Tennessee for Certification in Canine Rehabilitation. This became a special interest of Dr. Elliott’s after realizing he could offer more to his patients that were recovering from surgeries, suffering injuries, arthritis and obesity or needing more physical fitness.

Dr. Elliott lives with his wife, Dr. Kim Cox who is a veterinary surgeon, a beautiful daughter and a house full of pets.

When away from the hospital he enjoys spending time with his family, singing with the church praise band and when possible playing golf and fishing.
