Dr. Ortiz
Veterinarian
Dr. Ortiz has always dedicated his heart to caring for animals. He was born and raised in Puerto Rico and at a young age he started rescuing dogs and cats to take care of them. He acquired his bachelor’s in biology science at the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico. During his undergraduate program, he dedicated his free time to working as a veterinary assistant at his local veterinarian. He went on to attend Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, and then later did his clinical year at Louisiana State University. He loves to practice preventive medicine, dermatology, internal medicine, and cancer care. Dr. Ortiz is Fear Free Certified to ensure his patients have the best possible experience. Outside the clinic, he likes to spend time with his 2 rescue dogs from Puerto Rico, do outdoor activities, and play video games.
